Wizz Air is to open its second Ukrainian base on 1 October.
The low-cost carrier will station a new Airbus A320 narrowbody at Donetsk, and launch new services from the Ukrainian city to London, Milan, Munich and Rome.
From 1 October, it will fly thrice-weekly to Milan Bergamo. The following day will bring the start of twice-weekly operations to London Luton and Munich Memmingen, and from 4 October a Rome Fiumicino route will be operated at the same frequency.
A new Donetsk-Dortmund service is to be launched on 6 July, and from 3 October additional services will be added on the existing Donetsk-Kutaisi route, boosting frequency from two flights per week to five.
Wizz Air says its investment will grow passenger traffic at Donetsk airport to 275,000 in the first year and support more than 250 jobs.
The airline established its first Ukrainian base at Kiev.
