World inks deal with Cargolux for freighter operation

World Airways has signed an agreement to operate a Boeing 747-400 on a full time basis for Cargolux beginning in October 2010 through June 2011.

World Airways, a subsidiary of Global Aviation Holdings, provides charter transportation service for international passengers, cargo carriers, international freight forwarders and the US military.

Cargolux operates a fleet of 14 747-400 freighters in a worldwide network with 90 destinations.
