Xiamen Airlines plans to resume services to Bangkok after a seven year suspension, starting from 28 October.

The carrier will begin a four times weekly Dalian-Xiamen-Bangkok on 28 October, which will be followed by a thrice weekly Dalian-Fuzhou-Bangkok service launched on 29 October, it says.

Flightglobal’s FlightMaps Analytics suggests that the airline will use Boeing 737 aircraft on services to Bangkok.

It also shows that Xiamen Airlines will be the only operator on the Fuzhou-Bangkok route and will compete with Thai Airways on the Xiamen-Bangkok route.
