Xiamen Airlines will take delivery of 13 aircraft this year, and plans to have a fleet of 114 aircraft by the end of the year.
The Skyteam carrier says that it has already taken delivery of its first new Boeing 737-800 for the year, out of 11 planned deliveries of the type. It will also take delivery of two 787-8s, with the first to arrive in July.
Flightglobal’s Ascend Online database shows that the carrier has an all-Boeing fleet comprised of 96 737s and six 757s.
The China Southern Airlines subsidiary operates mostly domestic services, and also flies to destinations in Malaysia, Singapore and South Korea.
