Yemen flag carrier Yemenia is to move its passenger management and distribution services to SITA under a new seven-year contract.
The move is designed to manage an anticipated 10% annual growth in Yemenia's passenger numbers.
SITA will also handle network communications services for Yemenia's international office network.
Yemenia's chairman and CEO, Abdulkhalek Al-Kadi, describes the link with SITA as "a very important step" for the airline.
"We are looking for SITA's Horizon passenger management and distribution services to save up to 30% of our various costs as we implement more direct sales and increase our e-commerce offerings to our passengers."
SITA's regional vice-president Middle East and North Africa, Hani El-Assaad, adds: "As a single supplier we will manage the co-ordination of network management with passenger operations and our deep understanding of airline requirements will ensure that operational reliability, outstation coverage and ideal network communication requirements are met."
