China’s Zhejiang Loong Airlines is continuing to expand its Airbus A320 fleet ahead of deliveries from its own orderbook with Airbus next year.

The Hangzhou-based carrier has added another new Airbus A320 previously scheduled for delivery at LAN Airlines.

Delivery of the CFM International-powered aircraft, MSN 6065, follows handovers of another ex-LAN Airlines example in April and of an A320 previously ordered by TAM, Flightglobal’s Ascend Online database shows.

Zhejiang Loong Airlines, which started commercial passenger services with a leased A320 in December 2013, has also ordered 11 A320s and nine A320neos from Airbus.

The carrier says its focus is on routes within a 4h radius of Hangzhou Xiaoshan International airport.
