unusual feature is that the big square spill doors are on
top of the inlets, opening on the "lagoon" of stagnant air
between the ramps. A unique system in the MiG-25 intake
is the Venetian-blind diffuser fitted just aft of the inlet
ramps to smooth out the airflow. It is almost certainly
an improvisation to cure compressor stall.
