Each completed a circuit or two of flight competition. He only completed a circuit and a half, and the ground, and then Graham Gilmour started off in the longest then landed. One of the most interesting items on the programme of the Midland Meeting at Wolverhampton was the "Quick-rising" Competition. In our photograph Mr. Ccckburn, the winner of this ccntest, is seen on his Henry Farman toeing" the starting line for one of these trials. 519
