FLYING AT HENDON.—A snap of the pilot of the Valkyrie School flying at the London Aerodrome with one of the Valkyrie Type A monoplanes recently, during some demonstrations before some thousand or more spectators. The pilot was flying for considerable distances with both hands above his head, during one of which our photograph was secured. The photograph was taken from slightly below the machine, so that the most effective view of the picture is by holding it slightly forward and above one's eyes. E 2
