In order to facilitate gun-laying, the circular " rim " to the rear cockpit takes the form of a turntable, on one side of which is fitted an adjustable gun-mount ing of the type shown in the accompanying sketches. By rotating the turntable the gun is trained approxi mately, in a transverse sense, on the object aimed at, while the final sighting—vertically as well as laterally—is made possible by the universal mounting of the gun on the turntable.
