AAtfUA AD A.577EA UNDER this heading are published each week the official announcements of appointments and promotions affecting the Royal Naval Air Service and the Royal Flying Corps (Military Wing) and Central Flying School. These notices are not duplicated. By way of instance, when an appointment to the Royal Naval Air Service is announced by the Admiralty it is published forthwith, but subsequently, when it appears in the LONDON GAZETTE, it is not repeated in this column. Royal Naval Air Service THE following appeared among the Admiralty announce ments of August 17th :—• Temporary commissions have been granted to the following, seniority Aug. 16th :—Lieutenant (R.N.V.R.) : G.
