Until further notice, Service Members will be elected tothe Royal Aero Club without Entrance Fee. Subscriptions. THE FLYING SERVICES FUND administered by THE ROYAL AERO CLUB. THE Flying Services Fund has been instituted by the Royal Aero Club for the benefit of officers and men of the Royal Naval Air Service and the Royal Flying Corps who are incapacitated on active service, and for the widows and dependants of those who are killed. The Fund is intended for the benefit of all ranks, but especially for petty officers, non-commissioned officers, and men. The Pan-American Aeronautic Exposition. \L,A CONSIDERABLE amount of interest appears to be centring on the Pan-American Aeronautic Exposition whichthe Aero Club of America are organising, and which is to be held at the Grand Central Palace, New York, from Feb-ruary 8th to 15th. Although no definite information is to hand as to what modern machines will be on view, the his-torical section will include the first Wright machine. An item in the decorations will be one of the latest model UnitedStates Army kite balloons, which is to be suspended in the centre of the hall. A Rigid Dirigible for America.FOR some time past the. United States Navy Department has been working on the designs for a rigid airship of theZeppelin type, and a message from Washington on Jan- uary 10th stated that the order had been placed. The air-ship is to be armed with " large calibre rifles and howitzers." To assist the Navy Department United States naval attachis,says Aviation, have forwarded to Washington a great amount of information regarding Zeppelins which have been de-stroyed in England and Scandinavia, as well as a number of actual parts.
