. JANUARY 16, 19*9 TWO BRITISH RIGID AIRSHIPS OF MORE RECENT TYPE.—The " R. 29, it will be seen, has three engine nacelles. In the "R. 31 " the arrangement of the cars is different. In front there are two placed side by side, while farther aft are two more, also side by side, but further apart. A single engine nacelle is placed centrally near the stern, and near the bows may be seen the commander's cabin from where the navigation is done. It should be noted that in both these ships there is no keel. /I
