San Francisco, 4J. Cairo, If. Colombo, 4£. Perth, 7. Nairobi, 3£. Capetown, 5£. Rio de Janeiro, 4. On the chart the arrows indicate the direction of the prevailing winds. The continuous arrows denote steady winds. The short arrows denote variable winds, whose prevalent direction is that of the arrow.
