A more detailed view of the latter is given in Fig. 21, which also shows the flooring of the officers' quarters and the section utilised for petrol storage. The total gas space is divided into 15 compartments, as shown in Fig. 3, each compartment containing one gasbag. The maximum length of any of these bags is 10 metres, and they are fitted with inspection windows, purity connec- tions, filling necks, automatic gas valves, and manoeuvring gas valves where necessary.
