DECEMBER 23, 1920 A NAVAL correspondent of The Times, in commenting uponthe Jutland papers " and after," points out that, "although Admiral Jellicoe does not mention it in his narrative, theCampania, a kite-balloon ship andi aircraft carrier, was apparently intended to accompany the Fleet. Indeed, sheactually put to sea for the purpose, but for some reason which is unexplained she was ordered, at 4.37 a.-m. on theday of the battle, to return to base.
