MAY 10, 1928 CROYDON AIRPORT FORMALLY OPENED LADY MAUD HOARE formally opened the new airport of Croydon, on May 2. Sir Samuel and Lady Maud Hoare were received at the new buildings by Air Vice-Marsha] Sir Sefton Brancker.
