FLIGHT, MAY 2, 1929 First 413O MILES The first non-stop flight from England to India was accomplished when Squadron Leader A. G. Jones-Williams, M.C and Flight Lieut. N. H. Jenkins, O.B.E., D.F.C, D.S.M., piloting a Royal Air Force Fairey monoplane fitted with 530 H.P. TVAPIER AERO ETNGITVE landed at Karachi on April 26th after flying for 50 hours 38 mins. without alighting, covering a distance of 4,130 miles and setting up a new British non-stop record.
