FLIGHT, MAY 9, 1929 TTjtPEDwiTH CELL The dope of proved efficiency FIRST NON-STOP ENGLAND—INDIA FLIGHT CRANWELL TO KARACHI. The above photograph shows the Fairey long rangeMonoplane (Napier Engine) which left Cranwell at 10.37 a-m- on April 24th and landed at Karachi at1.15 p.m. on April 26th, thus completing a non-stop flight of 4,130 miles in 50 hours 38 mins. The pilotsof the machine for this flight were Squadron Leader A. G. Jones-Williams and Flight Lieutenant N. H.Jenkins. This machine was specially built by the Fairey Aviation Co. for the Air Ministry. THE MACHINE WAS OF COURSE DOPED WITH CELLON. Cerric Cellulose Lacquers comply with D.T.D. Speci- fication 63.
