FLIGHT. JUNE 20, 1929 p record of the JL Napier engine is really marvellous* It now holds four world's air records and three world's land speed records (over one mile, five miles and five kilometres). In addition, it was fitted to the Fairey machine which made the first non-stop flight to India, and to the Supermarine seaplane which achieved the fastest speed ever attained in the air. It was also installed in Miss England, the motor boat with which Sir Henry Segrave won the championship."
