A very important factor in the development of internal air transport is the provision of a sufficiency of aerodromes and landing grounds. Some flying companies have pro vided their own aerodromes. The present position is given in the following list: Blackpool Bristol Cardiff Hull Inverness Carlisle Doncaster Towns which have Licensed Aerodromes (16) Ipswich Nottingham Leeds-Bradford Plymouth Liverpool Portsmout Manchester Renfrew Norwich Stoke Southampton Towns which have Purchased Sites (4) Leicester Walsall Towns which have Reserved Sites in their Town Planning Schemes (11) Basingstoke Milton U.D.C.
