FLIGHT ADVERTISEMENTS. OCTOBER 19, 1933 "^***'SA SEVEN-EIGHT SEATER CABIN MONOPLANE 0 The last two years have seen a great extension of the trunk line air services of the world and the next two years will probably see still greater growth. These main lines must have feeder services, and feeder services in turn call for taxi and special charter work. The Spartan Cruiser has been de signed to meet the demand for machines for feeder and charter services and to give the operator something with which he can make profits without the aid of a subsidy. % The normal cruising speed of the Cruiser is I 18-120 m.p.h. At 2,000 r.p.m (i.e. 100 r.p.m. below normal) the speed is 110-112 m.p.h. This latter has proved to be a really economical working speed. The top speed is over 135 m.p.h. The clean strong cantilever wing is built for safety and economy. There are no struts nor wires to impair its efficiency, produce wasteful resistance and demand rigging attention. 0 Recently a new Spartan Cruiser was supplied to the Societe de Navigation Aerienne " Aeroput " of Belgrade.
