Dear Sirs, 'Salvol Oil'. Test Report EE.281. We have much pleasure in giving you the results of the test carried out on the above oil. The test was carried out on a Gipsy Six Engine, running at 2,100 R.F.K. at 9/10 full power. The condition of the engine, when dismantled a* the conclusion of the test, was quite satisfactory, and all working parts appeared to have been adequately lubricated. As a result of the test the oil is approved for use in Gipsy One, Two, Three, Major and Six engines for use in the normal category. Details of the test are given on attached sheet.
