APRIL I 6, 1936- ADVERTISEMENTS. FLIGHT. THE AIRSPEED ENVOY SERIES II "Last Saturday I changed machines at Portsmouth and finished my journey to London in the most comfortable aeroplane I have ever flown in. The journey took only 18 minutes, and was all loo short. Could you let me know what make of machine it was, because I enjoyed the trip so much? It had a low wing with two engines, and felt solid and powerful, yet there was no undue noise or vibration." This extract is from a letter received by a well-known Airline Operator, and the machine described was an Airspeed Envoy. Besides its splendid flying characteristics, which are appreciated by the Pilot and the Operator, PASSENGERS ENJOY FLYING IN THE ENVOY SERIES II A cut-away view of the Envoy Series II arranged as a six seater with lavatory and luggage compartment. The Envoy is also arranged as a luxurious four seater or, by dispensing with the lavatory, an eight seater. AIRSPEED (1934) LTD., THE AIRPORT, PORTSMOUTH, ENGLAND
