Davis, to No. 10 Flying Train- This increase resulted from a very considerable rise in expenditure upon war-time cases which had not been off-set by the falling demand oi pest-war cases. Donations during the same period had fallen. This was partly due to the decision to cancel the Royal Air Force Display in the Middle East Command. The withdrawal of support at short notice from a source which has made a very valuable contribution to the Fund over a .period of years, empha sises the insecurity of the Fund as regards its dependence upon Royal Air Force Displays. A letter was sent on behalf of the Council to the Chairman of the Comrades of the Royal Air Forces Association conveying thanks for their very helpful spirit of co-operation in proposing to hold special functions once or twice a year at the various Comrades of the Royal Air Forces Association Centres, in aid of the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund.
