FLYING ACCIDENTS The Air i\Iinistry regrets to announce th,at F/O. Kenrick Alan Stewart lost his life in an aircraft accident which occurred at Vlnvikir, Egypt, on July 13. F/O. Stewart was the pilot and sole occupant of the aircraft. Also that L.A/C. Frank Innes lost his life and L.A/C. Frederick William dumb was seriously injured, in an accident which occurred at Theddlethorpe Ranges on July 13, to an aircraft of No. 3 Flying Training School, Grantham, Lines. L.A/C. Innes was the pilot of the aircraft and L.A/C. Gumb the passenger. L.A/C. Gumb died in the Louth and District Hospital, Lincolnshire, on July 15. Also that F/O. James Kininmonth Leslie Carstairs lest his life and Fit. Lt. George Douglas Green was severely injured in an aircraft accident which occurred at Marfa Point off Malta on July 15 to an aircraft of the Station Flight, Hal Far.. Fit. Lt. Green was the pilot of the aircraft and F/O. Carstairs the passenger. Also that P/O. Geoffrey Gardner Cornwall lost his life in an accident which occurred at Knotty Green, near Eeaconsfield, on July 16, to an aircraft of No. 111 (Fighter) Squadron, Northolt. P/O. Cornwall was the pilot and sole occupant of the aircraft. Also that F/O. Denis Henry Spencer, of No. 8 (Bomber) Squad ron, lost his life in an air accident at Aden on July 18. F/O. Spencer was the pilot and sole occupant of the aircraft. Also that P/O. Guy Alan Corder lost his life in an accident which occurred at Leuchars on July 20, to an aircraft of No. I Flying Training School, Leuchars. P/O. Ccrder was the pilot and sole occupant of the aircraft. ROYAL AIR FORCE GAZETTE London Gazette, July 14, 1936 General Duties Branch Group Capt. R. Squadron Leader) in Class C (April 1); F/O. J. E. I. Crump is transferred from Class AA (ii) to Class C (June 25).
