FEBRUARY 25, 1937- ADVERTISEMENTS. FLTGHT. 3 The^F A J1 CIRRUS This very cleanly designed Light Aircraft fitted with the Cirrus "Minor" has an excep tionally fine performance. On a recent test over a 5 km. base, the average of three flights each way gave a maximum speed of 229-3 km./hr. and cruising speed of 193-1 km./hr. Climb fully loaded 2,200 m. in 13 minutes. Take-off 120-150 m. Landing Run 50-80 m. with flaps but without wheel brakes. As a result of the success of the "Minors" in theJ-11 machines a " Minor " is now being fitted to the J-8 type of aircraft.
