This strap always retains its proper shape and, if trodden upon, springs back into position instantly upon release. The Palmer Toe-Strap can be easily cut through with scissors in an emergency, as required by the British Air Ministry (ADM. 259). It is inextensible, yet perfectly flexible, of great strength and—last but not least—is inexpensive.
