The illustration shows the latest type gf Individual SupplyRegulator, the most perfected obtainable to-day. Operation is entirely automatic and the amount ofoxygen supplied is directly controlled by the altitude, but a second circuit is included for handoperation if required. This Supply Regulator can be tested at GROUND LEVEL before taking off to enable the pilot to check the proper working of the equipment at any altitude. The component parts are of particularly robust design giving long service under the severest conditions.A similar apparatus was used by Codos on his recent South Atlantic flight, which was made at a height of 20,000 feet.
