MAY 19, 1938. ADVERTISEMENTS. FLIGHT. 9 r A recent snap of our Managing Director taken at Archerfield Aerodrome, Brisbane. (Note how white his collar is—it was washed in '•Pjsrsil'a (or queueing up for Percival Q Sixes) Of course you maybe think—and maybe you maybe right—that it is merely a coincidence that we happen to have sold three from the first batch of those wonderful Perwval Q.6 (Queue-Six) twin-motored aeroplanes. But of course we prefer to think that it was due to our superior acumen and perspicacity (please pronounce chum-ley, coo-houn or perspicacity-as you wish)-toour superior or- ganisation and to the superior value we give. Anyhow, all this unwarranted expense is being incurred in order to induce you to order your new 'plane through us (and no other). We will take anything that flies in part exchange (no flying lice, please) and if it is not up to our particularly exacting standard, we shall sett it as.a crash to the film folk, or donate it to the South Kensington Museum—where it will remain a permanent advertisement to our firm—Aviation is the Coming Thing ! 1 By the way, we sold those three Percival Q.6's to :— Rt. Hon. Sir Philip Sassoon, F.C., G.B.E., C.M.G.. M.P. Geoffrey B. Legge, ESQ. Rt. Hon. Lord Londonderry, K.G., P.C., M.V.O. THE EVEREL MOUSTACHIO A recentsketch of our ChiefTest Pilot made at Heston (more or less) with his Cantilever moustachio trimmed to make a perpetual advertisement for the revolutionary EVEREL single blade airscrew—known, of course, in highly scientific circles as the cropped prop or amputated airscrew—for which we are the . ^ sole agents in Europe. ~ The Biggest British Exporters of Used Aeroplanes!
