Dear Sirs, '• . •". :. . - ,;•. ;. r ... I was night flying recently in one of your '\S.T.25 aircraft, when shortage of petrol compelled a landing. I would like 10 pay tribute to the machinedexcellent qualities in difficult circumstances. Firstly, when selecting a suitable field thehand-controlled headlight is invaluable. Secondly, the machine files nearly stalled on minimum throttle yopening without exhibiting a suspicion of viciousness. The approach to the field was over a line ofhigh-tension cables which had to be cleared very slowly to avoid overshooting. This was imperative. 1cleared them at 68 m.p.h. with engines, put the nose down and landed, using only 300 yards of the 600available. The moon had reached first quarter, but the light was not overstrong. .... : , . . From the pilot's point of view, I find the B.T.25 in a class by itself, and I do most heartilycongratulate you. ; Yours faithfully, -*. For UTILITY AIRWAYS LIMITED, Director, Keymer
