This, the first of the "Bristol" sleeve-valve aero-engines in large quantity production, has passed the official type test and has been thoroughly tested out in flight. A moderately-supercharged 9-cylinder radial with an output of 905 b.h.p. at 6,500 ft., it is scheduled for important civil and military duties.
