They left England in December last, and flew round Australia and back, arriving at Mount Batten, Plymouth, on May 29th. They had thus completed over 30,000 miles in about 400 hours flying time. This is a performance comparable with Drake's memorable voyage round the world in 1577, but he took three years for the voyage in the "Golden Hind." The " Bristol " Pegasus engine has thus added another record to its long list of high performances. with "Bristol" ---*.•- Pegasus Engines THE BRISTOL AEROPLANE CO LTD, FILTON BRISTOL
