The two false spars are attached to fuselage formers and do not run through the cabin. The nose is a separate unit of simple construction (see H). F and G illustrate the construction of the wing just outside the engines. Key drawing to the detail sketches, show ing the location in the machine of the various structural points illustrated. Great simplicity of construction is a feature of the Flamingo. This has largely been made possible by the extensive use of extruded sections.
