The hydraulic type is based on an ingenious principle which ensures complete freedom from errors due to temperature variations. AUTOMATIC DIAL CHANGE GAUGE enables the readings of as many as four pairs of tanks to be recorded in one instrument. A turn of the selector switch brings the appropriate tank end into circuit and a new dial appears, calibrated to read the contents of the tank.
