METAL Aircraft Rigger instructors Must be Capable of Lecturing and of Demonstrat-e the Working of Light Metal Tubes and Plates, as used in airframe construction; knowledge of the rigging of airframes is required. CARPENTER Rigger Instructors Must be Capable of Lecturing and Demonstrating e Repair of Wooden Airframes; knowledge of the rigging of airframes is necessary. ELECTRICIAN Instructors Must be Capable of Lecturing and Giving Instruction in A.C. and D.C. CIVILIAN INSTRUMENT MAKER INSTRUC TORS REQUIRED. VACANCIES Exist for CIVILIAN INSTRU MENT MAKER INSTRUCTORS at the Elec trical and Wireless School, Royal Air Force. Cranwell, Lines. The commencing rate of pay is £4 a week inclusive, which may be increased to £4 5s. a week after a short period of satis factory service. CANDIDATES Must be Capable of Lecturing, and must have a sound knowledge of the principles, action and construction of aircraft instruments. APPLICATIONS Should be Addressed to the Commanding Officer, Electrical and Wireless School, Royal Air Force. Cranwell, Lines, giving full particulars as to previous experience, age, etc. CANDIDATES Will be Required to Appear Before a Selection Board at the School for Interview and Test. The test will include the giving of a lecture on any subject which may he chosen by the candidate, involving the principles or construction of modern aircraft instruments. THE Duties of Examining Officers are to Con duct the Examination of Candidates Pre senting Themselves for Air Navigators' Licences. CANDIDATES, who should not have reached their 45th birthday on 1st March, 1939, must have had a good general education and •dmmistrative experience and possess first class ravigational qualifications and practical navi gational experience; preference will be given to candidates who have also qualified as pilots *itli instrument and night flying experience, and who have a knowledge of modern civil air-w»y, wireless and meteorological organisation; experience of lecturing and conducting examina tions in navigational subjects will be regarded *s additional assets.
