Jf0$^ March 16, 1939 NOCTURNE The camera records, with the aid of flash light, details of a North American "basic trainer" of the U.S. Army Air Corps. This photo graph, taken at 10 o'clock at night near Randolph Field, Texas, is claimed to be almost unique. The machines were flying at 3,000ft. BLUE HORIZON The clarity of the picture below, in par ticular the sharpness of the horizon, gives a clue to the where abouts of H.M.S. Ark Royal. Actually, she is seen in the Mediterranean during recent exercises. a*. ^
