MARCH 14, 1940 Advertisements. 7 Oft NAPIER DAGGER We show a battery of our " Progressive " high speed centre lathes, type P.420, at Messrs. D. Napier & Son Ltd. These machines are regularly engaged on aero engine work and have proved dependable for precision plus production. There are 12 spindle speeds up to I050 r.p.m. Other features include motor drive through vee-rope drive, all headstock gears hardened and ground, electric pump, prismatic bed and covered ways, central lubrication for the Norton type gear box and the apron, and some of the machines are fitted with taper turning attachment.
