Although the machine "is" orthodox in iayTrat7"the high placing of the tailplane gives the Whirlwinds distinctive outline. Armed with four 20 mm. Hispano cannon in the nose and powered by two Rolls-Royce Peregrine engines, this fighter is both fast and formidable. It is shown here from almost every angle; its amazing manoeuvrability and power in the climb are vividly portrayed. Some details of the Whirlwind appear overleaf.
