Whether carrying petrol, oil, Glycol, water or Lockheed hydraulic fluid, this coupling can be uncoupled under pressure without loss of contents or admission of air to the system, owing to the self-sealing action of its internal arrangements. This makes it possible to dismantle engine installations, to disconnect hydraulic units, etc., within a fraction of the usual time, and without the usual disadvantages. It greatly facilitates sectionalised assembly. These couplings are frequently used in conjunction with our flexible hose.
