But it is not difficult to foresee the time when the Americans and ourselves, working in double harness, will be able to find 2,000 bombers to raid any target in the Reich. 15. After the disintegrating belts have been made, they are passed through an aligning machine to ensure, as far as possible, that there shall be no stoppages from this cause. 19- Carriers being fitted to 1,000-lb. bombs before hoisting them into their appointed position in the main bomb bay. The bombs are arranged in such a manner as to take their proper place in the "sticks." 20. A bomb winch op* ting through the roof of the b« bay (the cabin floor) hoists < bombs into their racks.
