Sqn. Ldr. J. E. II. MARSHALL. D.F.C., No.102 Sqn.—Since the award of the D.F.C. in July, 1941, Sqn Ldr. Marshall has completed successfuloperational missions to targets, including Berlin, I'.sscn, Stuttgart and Turin. On one occasion, oneengine in his uircraft caught fire immediately alter taking off with a full bomb load. By hisI'Onlness and skill in this emergency, he made a safe landing.
