HOPCROFT, D.F.C., K.A.F., No. 57 Sqn.—Wing Cdr. Hopcrolt has rendered valu-able service since the commencement of hos- tilities. Wing Cdr, Hopcroft has undertaken verymany sorties, involving attacks on a wide range of important targets. GODEFROY, D.F.C., E.C.A.F.,No. 403 (li.C.A.F.) Sqn.—Since being awarded the D.F.C. ir» May, 1943, Sqn. Ldr. Godefroy hascontinued to display great courage and devotion to duty. He has recently been appointed to com-mand his squadron, which, under bis inspiring: leadership, has destroyed ten enemy aircraft anildamaged many others.
