INSPECTION WITHOUT GAUGES f^N the Hilger Projector inspection is done by enlarged drawings which are quickly and cheaply made, instead of by the use of expensive gauges which are subject to wear. A noticeable saving in tine and money is thus effected. Inspection is quick and accurate, it can be made at intervals while the work is being machined, thus .avoiding scrap. HILGER PROJECTORS, made by Adam Hilger, Ltd., London, are of the highest optical and mechanical quality. They can easily be moved to departments where they are required. The image can be observed by daylight without screening. Hundreds of these instruments are now being used for the checking of formed parts, profiles and templates against an enlarged master drawing.
