Cotton fabrics are, however, in short supply, and any improve- ment will only be on a gradual scale. Meantime we shall continue to supply leathercloth to customers under quotas, this having been found to foe the fairest method of distribution. Where firms have, or can acquire, suitable base fabric, we shall be pleased to quote for its processing into leathercloth. A sample of the fabric should be submitted.
