In response to this S.O.S. we fitted the "Airdraulic " landing legs with valves, which slowly released the fluid when necessary, letting the machine down to the ground, and thus facilitating the unloading. The fluid can be pumped back again prior to take off, a feature which will be valuable for freight planes of the future.
