Air Vice-Marshal Embry has been A.O.C. aGroup in the 2nd T.A.F., later British Air Femes - of Occupation, since June, 1943. lie was previously S.A S.O. of a Group in Fighter Command and S.A.S.O., Air H.Q., Western Desert. In1941 he commanded ft.A.F. Station, Wittering, and during the period of the Battle of Britainwas leader of a fighter wing. Air Vice-Marshal Guest has been A.O.C., No.229 Group (India), since November, 1943, and was previously Deputy-Director of Organisationat the Air Ministry from September, 1942 Earlier in that year lie was attached to DefenceH.Q., South Africa, for special duty. From December, X94O, until February, 1942, he heldvarious staff appointments in the Middle East.
