5HT, rt.2.- The Percival Prince is an all-metal, high wing monoplane with nose wheel undercarriage, affording a degree of passenger comfort and spaciousness hitherto only associated with much larger aircraft. Two Alvis Leonuies engines driving constant speed, feathering and braking propellors, give an economical cruising speed of 170 m.p.h. at 6,000 ft., using only 50% power. With a crew of two, eight passengers and 400 lbs. of luggage, the Prince has a range of 800 miles in still air. An additional two passen- gers can be accommo- dated by dispensing with the toilet compartment. This versatile aircraft is easily convertible into a capacious freighter with a disposable load of 3,260 lbs., and is designed for use with ivheels, floats or skis.
