2O Advertisements. FLIGHT APRIL IOTH, 1947 This series of advertisements is designed to show the utilization of scientific and exhaustive test methods in the manufacture of fSKIF Bearings. Vibration and temperature change enable the Skefko Laboratory Engineers to assess at any particular moment the state of the bearings undergoing test on the fatigue- testing machines, running continuously at loads and speeds far exceeding normal operating conditions. This " test to destruction " is designed to cause bearing failure.
