345 FLIGHT APRIL 17TH, 1947 The Home of Fighter Command Permanent Exhibition Underground at Bent ley Priory VISITORS to H.Q., Fighter Command, atBentley Priory, Stanmore, who since1936 have numbered many thousands and have represented several nations, will de- plore the news that the ante-room—perhaps the noblest part of a beautiful home—w;b gutted when fire broke out 011 the night of March 10th.
